I got this for both of my German Shepherd mixes. I was adding it to their food, then my 5 year old GSD boy ate a stick and started bleeding internally so I had to stop everything except his boring old food. But I kept giving it to my severely arthritic 14 1/2 year old girl ... and I do believe she is better. She has started following him around, joining in his barking, and they seem more companionable since she is more mobile. So, I am giving the green-lipped mussels the benefit of the doubt and ascribing her newfound vivacity to this supplement. Honestly she does seem more alert and mobile even though the weather is miserable, raining, humid, overly warm etc. I look forward to adding it back to my boy's food bowl.
